  • What problems and issues can be treated?

    Any anxiety or stress based problems can be treated successfully. Example issues include addictions, anxiety and anxiety disorders, stress and overwhelm, habits like nail biting or skin picking.

    Childhood, teenage or adult trauma, chronic fatigue syndrome, eating disorders, general stress, OCD, performance anxiety, phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), sleeping problems and insomnia, smoking.

  • How many sessions will I need?

    BWRT (Brain Working Recursive Therapy) and Hypnotherapy are short-term, solution focused therapies. The majority of clients will find relief from their symptoms in between 2-6 sessions. Sometimes a single session is all that is needed to find relief from single phobias or single cause issues.

  • Do I have to talk about the past?

    Not unless you want to. BWRT creates fast change, and does not require you to share any details or tell your story, instead it uses neuroscience to change the way your brain and nervous system respond to your issues in the first place. Hypnotherapy can be used to gently re-assess and update your understanding of past events and their effects.

  • What therapies are used?

    At Forward Focus Therapy I use BWRT (Brain Working Recursive Therapy), Hypnotherapy and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy). The therapies can be used alone or in combination. You can read more about each therapy on the website.

  • Who is BWRT therapy suitable for?

    Our therapies are suitable for adult clients of all ages, genders and backgrounds. You can share as little or as much about your problems and issues as you feel comfortable with.

  • What is the session fee?

    Your initial 15-minute phone consultation is free. Therapy sessions last around an hour and the fee is €80 per session. A 4-session package is available for a fee of €300, saving €20. Payment is made at the time of booking the session.
